Our journey began when the salon was first opened by our founder Denise. After starting as an apprentice in the mid 1960’s she followed in her own Mothers footsteps and branched out opening her first premises in 1985 . The focus of the business has always been client care and to provide the best possible experience for all by providing excellent, skilled services and the best products available to the industry. High quality service and customer satisfaction in a friendly inclusive environment is our primary ethos.
Denise first made the move towards a more eco-conscious way of working in 2005 when she introduced her first exclusive line of organic products to the salon. When her daughter Stephanie took over in 2012 she discovered Oway Organics and we are now very proud affiliates of the brand. Using Oway has helped us to work towards a more sustainable future by combining our long history and success in the industry with a product company whose Green Chemistry organic credentials are second to none.
Stephanie is the Owner Director of Denise Lesley. She has 30 years experience in the industry as a third generation Hairdresser. In 2012 she took over the family business from her mother, Denise, and works hard to maintain the reputation of the salon that has been established for 36 years. Her holistic approach to her hairdressing and technical knowledge are her assets.
Chloe is the Senior Hair Designer and Hairdressing Manageress at Denise Lesley. She has 10 years experience in the industry and has acquired a vast knowledge in her trade. The salon is proud to have her working alongside us as such a loyal and dedicated partner.
Chloe is fully qualified in Beauty Works taped extensions and The Naked Weave Technique. She will always be happy to talk you through your options if you are looking to add length or density to your hair.
Paige has recently joined us from her very successful salon in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. She has 10 years experience in the Hair and Beauty industry. See her Instagram @pdb_hair.
Freya is our apprentice. She is a kind and friendly soul with a passion for all things hair. She has worked with us since August 2023 and she is due to qualify in July 2025. She is always on the look out for models to help her progress her learning journey. She currently charges £15 for a Cut and Finish, £15 Colouring Service and £20 Partial Foils £30 Full Head Foils. These prices are subject to consultation with a senior member of staff to assess your suitability for the services and a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
